Over the last couple weeks we’ve spent a lot of time discussing the benefits of digital transformation and digitizing in restaurant operations. Areas including order and inventory management, equipment and energy management, point of sale, and more recently online ordering and customer loyalty programs have all contributed to long term cost savings, improved visibility, and enhanced the customer experience.
We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of ActivityStudiotm, our new self-service application that makes it easier than ever before to build and execute auditing, self-assessment, inspection, evaluation, checklist, and survey programs.
We took the most powerful and comprehensive auditing tool in the industry, which we had refined and developed over the last 10 years, and flipped the script to make it completely self-service. With ActivityStudiotm, organizations of all sizes can digitize their operational, quality or compliance related programs on their own – using a powerful visual management interface. Now anyone can create and deploy simple to complex programs for their retail locations, stores, restaurants, and supply chain partners.
As an organization, we’ve had our sights set on building a self-service tool like this for some time now. Our customers have been asking for it, too. Sure, there are plenty of simple apps in the marketplace, but they all lack the ability to model and deliver what the enterprise needs when their programs require sophisticated question and form logic, complex scoring, and flexible workflows. So that was our challenge… to deliver the advanced audit and assessment capabilities only previously available to the largest internal and third-party audit programs – in a package that is completely self-service. Oh… and while we were at it, we wanted to make ActivityStudiotm available for any sized company or department, easy to get started, simple to use, and affordable for any sized budget.
Well, it wasn’t easy but we are proud to say that we did it. ActivityStudiotm is the culmination of countless hours of hard work from every single person on the CMX team. Companywide, it has been an intense focus of ours for the past 12 months. With integrated policy management, drag-and-drop visual form building, automated scheduling, online/offline activity execution, complex scoring and ratings, collaborative corrective action workflows, and actionable insights and reporting, ActivityStudiotm provides all the options needed to transform operations by digitizing critical operating procedures and protocols.
Finally, we’d like to thank our many customers who provided invaluable input and feedback into the development of this new product. Without them, this wouldn’t have been possible.
